How to configure Virtual Display for BCF2000 with FL Studio 10 in Windows 7 (64-bit)

RSS
This guide helps you to configure a virtual display simulating Mackie/Logic-display on the screen of your computer and make it work with FL Studio and motorized faders of Behringer BCF2000 MIDI controller.

Tested with FL Studio 8,9,10 on Windows Vista and Windows 7, both 32-bit and 64-bit edition.

1. Install MIDI Yoke from http://www.midiox.com/myoke.htm or download it here.

MIDI YOKE is a midi driver that allows you to connect any MIDI application output to other application's input.

2. Install Huskervu from http://www.xmlconsulting.co.nz/husker/huskervu.htm or download it here.

Huskervu is a free improved alternative to BCFView utility provided by Behringer. It supports transparency, custom fonts and allows to specify both MIDI input and MIDI output.

If the original Huskervu installer complains about missing .NET Framework 1.1.4322, try my modified installer instead.
It's a "hacked" version that doesn't check for .NET Framework.

3. Switch on your BCF2000 in Mackie/Sonar emulation mode.
The device has to be switched on before Huskervu is started, otherwise Huskervu resets MIDI output to (none) and you'll have to set the output manually to "BCF2000" the next time you start Huskervu.

4. Launch Huskervu and configure input/output as follows:

5. Configure input/output in FL Studio according the screenshot below. Port number must be set to 102.

6. Enjoy. :)
